Like the historical textiles that inspired them, they are uniquely suited for to be combined with other handmade papers or patterns to create complex and exceptional designs in collage and/or mixed media artwork.

Used with more monochromatic surfaces, these beautiful papers can be a startling accent, especially when combined with unique ephemera to create a specific ambiance or mood.
