This is a very interesting collection of papers.  White paper pulp has various patterns executued in clear varnish, creating a very subtle, sophisticated look.  The varnished areas are translucent,  while the solid pulp, whether white or colored, remains opaque.  When these papers are held up to a window or other light source, the light will shine through the varnished patterns.  (Very cool for lampshades!)
