 When we first saw these they reminded us of the wallpapers we remembered seeing in the old movies, set in the 20's and 30"s.   "SPEAKEASY" PAPERS are individually hand screened onto a handmade paper sheet - and you will find little irregularities in each sheet, making each unique.

The "SPEAKEASY" PAPERS are interesting enough to just use as individual pieces of artwork (cost effective artwork too!), but where we think they really come into their own is when they are used as accent pieces - combined with other handmade papers in collage, card making, montage, etc.  All papers have trimmed edges.

    I have a constant supply of the Speakeasy, Parisian Apartment and Calligraphy papers in my studio for they always find their way into one of my mixed media paintings. These designs often serve as the main theme in some of my work or if I'm stuck for inspiration it's a section of one on these papers applied to my painting that will be all the inspiration I need to continue creating.
