These "papers" are thick almost architectural sheets & they are available in 2 natural fibers -
'Linen Bark' & natural 'Corn Husk'.
'Linen Bark', a webby plant fiber, has been applied to a heavy backing of handmade paper pulp, to create a super strong & heavy, thick sheet in 2 surfaces. 'Linen Bark', "Natural" is layered strips of the original brown fibers, 'Linen Bark', "Vanilla", has layers of fiber in a bleached, creamy linen color, & 'Linen Bark', "Montage" is a combination of layers of both the "Vanilla" & the darker "Natural" fiber.
"Corn Husk" (or as I like to refer to them, "Tamales on the Wall") is just what it sounds like - layers of dried corn husk on a heavy, nubby handmade paper sheet.
Due to the organic nature of the product, the handmade papers vary a bit in size, & as with all handmade papers, sizes can always vary a bit.
These are truly unique & are extremely well suited for using in wall covering applications (we like to cut them into "tiles" for this). They are also ideal for creating book or journal covers or other handmade book art pursuits, adding to collage and/or mixed media & as an organic backing for a variety of nature arts.
