No snakes were harmed or had to sacrifice their skins for these unusual 'ribbon/trims' but they sure do have that look! 

3 different surfaces provide a wonderful way to add textures & metallic highlights to collage & mixed media artwork. 

5" wide textile on a backing of heavy recycled kraft, this heavy "ribbon/trim" feels almost like a fabric. 

This unusual material is available in 3 styles: "Aurora", "Aurora with Gold Droplets" & "Precious Metals"

The two "Aurora" & "Aurora with Gold Droplets" patterns have a handpainted kaleidoscope of earthy color in blues, greens, greys & rust to create a blended background for the subtle pattern of "X's" in cobalt & mocha shades.  A touch of metallic gleams randomly through the colors.  Both have a rough grid design "snakeskin" surface texture.  "Aurora with Gold Droplets" has the added accent of small gold "studs" at each intersection of the "X's".

The "Precious Metals" pattern is a melding of golds, silver, bronze & coppers with a meandering trail in a deeper rust shade.  "Precious Metals" has a rough diamond design "snakeskin" surface texture.
