"Ancient Orient" Vases, Set/2
Ok, this is a bit off our usual paper, fiber art stuff, but as many of you who have been with us for years know, we were originally a wholesale source for the interior design trade, specializing in the unique & unusual in home decor items & ideas.
And this was one of our favorite finds -
the "Ancient Orient" Vases
2 different vases, with fascinating imagery of Old China
& bits of kanji make these quite unique.
Made of wood, the vases are accented with a top rim "cornice"
The imagery in shades of black, charcoal & grey
is set off by an antique, distressed finish of cream, eggshell & fawn
& bits of kanji make these quite unique.

Set/2 is made up of "Personages" & "Ladies in Waiting"
"Personages" is 6" x 12" & has a different image on each of the four sides.
"Ladies in Waiting" is 6-3/4" x 9-3/4" & has image on one side
