Most of us know raffia as those really long, grass-like natural strands that we use most often as an organic tie or accent on a project, or maybe we have seen (or have) one of those $200 raffia summer hats! 

But raffia actually is made from segments of the leaves of the Palmyra Palm, with a natural resin, which makes it a very resilient & strong fiber & also very flexible & pliant.

Which brings us to our RAFFIA CLOTH.  Almost 10 yds long, our RAFFIA CLOTH is woven entirely of the amazing, native raffia strands, the textile is beautiful with the natural variegation of the fibers adding visual textural interest.   It makes wonderful tablecloths, runners or even seat cushions. 

And, of course my favorite use - Doing Art!!!
