"PARISIAN APARTMENT" 'HOLD-TO-LIGHT' patterns

In looking through old decorating books, especially European ones, these papers immediately made us think of the different design/color combinations that were used in the more creative artist's lofts along the Seine River in Paris.  

Besides being entirely hand painted, almost all of the "PARISIAN APARTMENT" 'HOLD-TO-LIGHT' papers also have an additional design element of clear varnish which is transparent, allowing light (natural or artificial) to accent certain design features in the paper (dots,, stripes, grid, etc.).   All papers have fully deckled edges.
