 This is very unusual paper.  It is quite stiff & similar to a heavier cardstock in thickness.  This pattern/texture on the surface is striated, giving the paper a bark-like surface.  Would work very well for handmade cards, book or journal covers or as an interesting texture in collage or mixed media art.
