Handmade papers - 15 rich, yummy colors, visible fibers, smooth surface!

We were sitting, sharing an espresso at a small cafe in Germany, going over ideas and paper snippets with one of our vendors when we first saw these deep, rich, "delicious" papers.  One of our favorite papers to work with on many different types of projects, we love using them in collage/montage work because the subtle, organic colors compliment each other so incredibly well. 

Coffee House papers are fairly lightweight and almost a bit transparent, making them an interesting choice for covering lampshades, window applications, etc.  The visible fiber is deeply embedded in the paper, giving them a fairly smooth surface that can go through most printers.  They are also a great choice for writing on with pens, markers, etc. and when "mixed & matched" make beautiful stationary.

spider-webs-1-.jpgAnd, because of the relatively smooth surface, they will take most transfer processes quite well - even if you're transferring actual spider webs from your garden! 

(be sure the spider is scared away first tho)
